4. Crafting a Vision

Needs video added.

Today’s information includes an e-book you’ll use to determine what your brand currently looks like and what we need to do to make your career brand reflect the position you wish to receive. I’ve built in 2 days for you to work through the sections in the workbook.

Anything you can see online; a potential employer can see as well. I promise you, when your resume makes it to a real human’s desk, they will search you online. We want to control what they find. HR folks won’t stop with Google.

You may find places we may need to work on – or cleanup. Be honest in your assessment. That’s the only way I can help you if there are issues. Everything we discuss is confidential and I promise you, there’s no judgement on my side. I’ve seen just about everything over the years.

You may be thinking “I’ll just make everything private and it won’t matter.” I urge you not to take that route. If a recruiter or HR professional can’t find information about you, they probably won’t interview you.

We’ll focus on the big giants in the digital realm: LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google. Every post, like, or comment leaves a digital footprint and can affect the impression someone has of you.
